Farming Forward (3rd Agri-Food International Conference in Iasi)

🌿 💰 The transition towards a green economy and green jobs is already taking shape within agriculture and the food system.

On May 7th, in Iași, together with the @Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Romania,, the Dutch Consulate Iași - România  together with the @Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Romania and Forumul Agricultorilor și Procesatorilor Profesioniști din România (FAPPR), the focus is on the new generation & driving sustainable agrifood production.

We’ll be speaking about:

🤝 partnering towards regenerative practices

🦾 inclusion of digital trends & tehncology 

👩‍🌾 the role of women and youth in the sustainable development of the agri-food sector towards ecosystem resilience and food security.

This is where builders in agrifood operate within an ecosystem, the way we’re developing with Proon-Tech and through the AgriAlly Initiative & Podcast for Women & Youth in nature STEM, not in a vacuum.

And an ecosystem requires farmers, founders, researchers, policymakers, institutions, operators, engineers, investors, and communities to sit at the same table, in the same environment, and actually listen to one another. To understand where each perspective comes from, because only then can we begin to walk a mile in each other’s shoes.

The future of agriculture won't be shaped by one type of actor, one type of technology, or one type of expertise. It requires many layers moving together: regenerative practices, AI, hardware, software, field experience, policy, capital, and community.

I’m honored to contribute to this dialogue through my work as Co-founder & CEO of Proon-Tech, and Founder of the AgriAlly Initiative and Podcast for women and youth in nature-STEM.

As we prepare to launch the AgriAlly website and ecosystem page, Farming Forward will be among the first events represented there -a signal of the kind of collaboration, visibility, and collective action we aim to support.

Together, we become a beacon for skilled people, for excitement, for passion, and for dedication, to the land, and to the security of our food system.

Seeds have been planted. Now we nurture the soil for them to grow.
