About us
AgriAlly is a platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of women, youth, men and veterans in nature-STEM — while actively supporting the transition to green jobs, the green economy, and regenerative, resilient systems.
It bridges the gap between ecosystem players — connecting those who are growing, building, restoring, researching, and deploying with those shaping capital, regulation, and strategy.
We’re living through a moment of systems convergence. AI is beginning to interact with living systems in ways we have never seen before. Agriculture & nature are no longer just about food & the environment.
They now sit at the center of: climate & ecosystem resilience, biodiversity restoration, water & food security, energy transitions, and the future of rural economies.
Through the initiative and podcast, AgriAlly brings together:
founders, farmers, and field operators
scientists and research teams
engineers and technology builders
investors and capital allocators
ecosystem builders and policymakers
to support:
the transition to green jobs, skills, and economy
regenerative agriculture and resilient food systems
underserved communities needing access, infrastructure, and opportunity
agritech, climate tech, and deep tech go-to-market pathways
stronger bridges between field reality, R&D, technology, and deployment

What emerges isn’t just innovation. It’s a shift in how we understand and interact with living systems.
And with that shift comes a new requirement & opportunity:
Founders, investors, and ecosystem builders need strategic intelligence that moves across these layers — translating research into deployment & market opportunities, connecting fragmented actors, and navigating the real constraints that shape what succeeds and what gets funded.
AgriAlly exists to provide that intelligence - real pathways for people and organizations who want to work with the land instead of against it.
A place where patterns become visible.
Where the right events & connections happen at the right time.
Where people move with clarity instead of assumption.
We help you see those patterns, connect the dots, and move with confidence in complex terrain — in service of systems that work with the land, not against it.

The short origin story
I’m Thea Gherdan, the founder & host of the AgriAlly Initiative & Podcast & the co-founder of deep-tech startup Proon-Tech.
My work lives at the intersection of agriculture, climate, and deep tech, where ideas either become real systems. I grew up on a farm & understand the intensive labour of farmers that serve their communities.
Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked more or less under the radar with more than 375 founders and across every layer of the ecosystem — from farmers and operators in the field, to startups, accelerators, regulators and global institutions. That exposure changes how you see things.
Patterns become visible.
Alignment becomes obvious. Direction becomes clear.
And most importantly, you start to understand what actually moves, and what doesn’t.
You start & work from what I've lived, tested, and internalized, lessons I've learned. Not as theory. Not as frameworks. And together we build from integration.

This is pattern recognition built across thousands of interactions, strategic decisions, failures, successful deployments, and real-world constraints.
The result:
faster clarity
fewer mistakes
stronger positioning
execution that holds in reality
programs contributions
As a founder myself, I’m navigating international contexts, expansion, partnerships, and execution in real time.
Take away go-to-market & internationalization insights I've built across ecosystems in Europe, the United States, APAC, and MENA, and through global programs and organizations such as:
the European Commission, United Nations FAO & World Food Forum (including innovation challenges and global youth/impact platforms), SelectUSA Global Women in Tech, European Innovation Council (EIC) & EIC Women Leadership Programme, IFC / World Bank — She Wins Climate, EIT Food, SVG Ventures / THRIVE, gener8tor, RootCamp, Brainforest, SCION Accelerator, Illinois AgTech Accelerator, Women in Food & Agriculture (WFA), Women4Cyber, Women Entrepreneurs for Good, Corteva Women in Agribusiness & many more.
